Everyone goes through it. You are in your early 20s and you are stuck in what people fear the most - the transitional stage. You are out of college, starting a career and yes, still trying to figure out who you are and what your purpose is in life. Welcome to your early 20s. I have been challenged quite a bit lately, attempting to get my footing and gain perspective as to where I am going and heck, what am I even good at? Well today I think I found my calling. I have dubbed myself "the girl who wins stuff". I was never lucky when I was younger. Sweepstakes, coloring contests, talent shows, the lottery - you name it, I never won it.
It wasn't until I started soul searching, I mean really digging deep to find a little meaning and a little direction that I realized how lucky I really I am. Well, soul searching and a little help from the internet. Man, I am darn good at winning things. A little dedication and education in social media and I am winning things left and right. To date I have won multiple free lunches for my office, two happy hour parties, VIP tickets to the Air & Water Show, workout clothing, move tickets, and my victory today - a coffee mug. Okay, so I might have 17 coffee mugs already stowed away in a cabinet at my apartment but I beamed with joy and got a little giddy when I saw those words, "Congratulations, you won". I sat back in my chair, victorious, content that I had found my footing, my calling. I am darn good at winning things. So I well rest easy tonight, as I am a 20 something who has figured out her purpose....at least until social media marketing becomes a thing of the past.
